Low-Dose Digital Radiography

The efficiency of the SmartRAD flat panel detector, combined with the noise reduction and detail enhancement of Rhapsody, allow exposures at very low doses for screening applications, pediatric cases and orthopedic studies.

Conventional Film Screen chest imaging is routinely done at a film speed of 200-400. SmartRAD DR chest images acquired at a film speed equivalent to 600 and 800 have been shown to provide comparable or better diagnostic value, enabling the dose to be reduced by (typically) 50%.
