SmartSPOT RF is a high resolution
digital imaging system specifically
designed to process flouroscopy and
radiography images, eliminating the
use of cassette filming and 105mm spot
cameras. The SmartSPOT's unique combination
of state-of-the-art data acquisition
and image-processing technology, consistently
ensures high image quality and lower
doses to both the patient and the operator.
The SmartSPOT combines a powerful PCI-based
workstation running under the Windows
NT operating system, with state-of-the-art
object oriented software and connectivity.
The system 's mouse-driven Windows-based
user interface makes learning and using
the system both fast and easy.
In addition to its basic functions and
features, the system's modular design
allows for easy addition of future advanced
image processing applications. The SmartSPOTS's
full implementation of the DICOM 3.0
communication protocol allows connectivity
to DICOM 3.0 compliant stations.
